TGrigorenko@croc.ruCROC’s proprietary hardware is designed by qualified engineers experienced in solving unique tasks in various fields and can be easily integrated to existing infrastructure, thus providing new solutions for data gathering and analysis as well as business development.
CROC has been developing unique software and hardware solutions since 1996, when the company designed its first ballot scanner. Since 2000, CROC has been producing high-performance scanners for the All-Russian Population Census, which were later used to conduct the Unified State Exam and process subscription lists by the Central Election Commission of Russia.
The company has well-established relations with equipment and electronic component developers, while software is the responsibility of CROC’s own developers. As a result, the creation of turn-key hardware and software solutions takes as little as four months. In addition, product quality is tested multiple times on CROC’s own test benches and guaranteed via the provision of long-term support.
Since 2004, CROC’s ballot processing system has been used as an officially approved technical vote counting and tallying tool as part of the Vybory (Elections) State Automation System in the territory of the Russian Federation. In 2016, the company released the eighth generation of its ballot processing system in line with all relevant legislation and new data protection technology trends.
System functionality ensures:The ballot scanner recognizes any mark (tick, etc.) within the allocated check box with 99.9% accuracy, while a double-sheet sensor prevents the insertion of more than one ballot at a time or a folded ballot. Furthermore, in compliance with international standards, the ballot processing system software is certified as being free of any undocumented features, while any software modification can be checked for malicious intent.
CROC’s medical terminal is used to perform quick health checks in any appropriate room without the need for medical professionals. The solution does not require blood, urine, stool or similar tests and allows a health examination to be performed within just two minutes by measuring arterial blood pressure, heart beat rate, blood oxygen level, weight, body temperature, and breath alcohol level. For each person who is tested, the medical terminal enables rapid detection of the following:
Biometric authentication tools are used in various areas of daily life such as physical control of access to offices and buildings, identity verification for e-commerce, immigration control, etc. Unlike traditional passwords and PIN codes, biometric data cannot be guessed, forged, stolen, lost or used by another person.
CROC’s biometric solutions employ fingerprint and retinal identification technologies that provide greater accuracy and convenience compared to other access control tools available on the market. In addition, special-purpose information security systems block hacking attempts and ensure compliance with Russian personal data laws.
