CROC has ensured integrated security for a 22.7 ha park in the vicinity of the Krasnodar FC stadium. The solution includes emergency telephony, CCTV, physical security, and fire safety systems for an amphitheater.
The new park is the first public venue of such scale to be built in Krasnodar in the past 30 years. For CROC specialists, the main concern was to create a safe and secure environment where visitors could relax and enjoy themselves. To monitor the park and its perimeter, prevent unlawful activity, register emergencies, and help investigate crimes, CROC implemented a video surveillance system covering all areas. Specialists installed about 250 HD video cameras designed to withstand extreme weather conditions. Furthermore, the equipment also offers the technical capacity for future expansion (e.g. video analytics scenarios using any necessary detectors or sensors).
CROC deployed a zone-based sound system to promptly alert people to an emergency (fire, natural disaster, terroristic threat, etc.), while visitors can also quickly contact security via emergency communication terminals installed throughout the park. In addition, CROC implemented solutions to ensure the safety of visitors to a summer amphitheater located in the park. The building was also equipped with access control, security and alarm systems, fire alarms, emergency communications, a public address system, radio communication, and security video surveillance, as well as LAN, SCS, and PABX systems.
All installed systems are integrated with the Stadium Control Center (SCC) deployed by CROC as part of the engineering and IT infrastructure creation project for the Krasnodar FC stadium. As a result, the security team can monitor the area in real time, accurately assess the situation and quickly respond to any emergency.

This is why providing a safe and secure environment for visitors was a top priority. To integrate the solutions into a unique park design made by a team of German architects, CROC employed the CommScope Powered Fiber Cable System for the first time in Russia. This hybrid system combines fiber optics and electric wiring for communication and electricity supply to long-distance network devices without the use of cumbersome intermediate switches, power supply units, cabinets, etc.

Opened in September 2017, the Krasnodar City Park covers an area of 22.7 ha, including 13.7 ha of green zones, featuring granite, marble and limestone claddings and pavements, as well as some 2,000 light fixtures. The unique city park landscape, designed by a team of German architects, comprises 30 different zones, including a summer amphitheater, observation deck, fountain and an ice rink. Furthermore, sports fans will find a streetball ground and skate park, while the amphitheater features a 40 sq. m screen for movies and theatrical performances. The park is also fully accessible for mobility impaired persons. In addition, a 160-seat cafe with roof summer terrace will be opened in the near future.
