CROC ‘Volochaevskaya 2’ |
Data Center Implementation
Project objectives: To ensure continuous operation of IT hardware at its ‘Volochaevskaya 2’ outsourcing data center, CROC implemented a number of innovative engineering solutions. The data center is equipped with dynamic diesel UPS systems manufactured by HITEC Power Protection. The solution combines a stabilized power supply with a diesel generator in one body.
Air-conditioning is performed using free cooling technology, with hot air being cooled as a result of the difference between indoor and outdoor temperatures. Electronically switched fan-coil units (FCUs) by APC are installed in the data center room and hot and cool air flows are separated. These engineering systems help reduce the electricity consumption of the air-conditioning system.
Key Customer Benefits
- Reduced electricity bills
- More space for computer equipment thanks to the use of diesel dynamic UPS and fan coil units
- Lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
