LensMasterUse of virtual infrastructure for ERP system

Project objectives: Implementation of a business-critical information system at minimum cost

Prior to the deployment of Oracle e-Business Suite, LensMaster’s IT unit could not forecast the exact application load. In order to mitigate financial risk, LensMaster decided to use virtual capacity provided by CROC’s outsourcing data center rather than purchasing IT equipment. Five months later, once the system was implemented and put into commercial operation, the customer determined the optimal infrastructure configuration and purchased the necessary equipment which was then installed (collocated) in CROC’s data center.

Project Objective: Effective and secure operation of a new hypermarket

Within six months, CROC created an integrated infrastructure covering an area of 12,000m2 and including: a closed-circuit television system (CCTV), an access control and management system, a security and fire alarm system, a structured cabling system, a public address system, and a PABX (private automatic branch exchange) system.

Microsoft Enterprise Subscription Agreement

Project Objectives: Purchase and installation of the latest licensed Microsoft software.

In 2006, CROC and Microsoft concluded a five-year license agreement with M.Video – the first Russian agreement on purchase of licensed software for such a long term.

Automation of Central Office's Operations

Project Objectives: Provision of secured and continuous IT infrastructure operation, a highly-reliable server room, and remote connection to corporate resources in order to ensure that M.Video employees are always available.

In 2007, CROC equipped three floors of M.Video’s rented office center with a full set of engineering and information systems, laid LAN cables, upgraded telecommunication and telephony infrastructure, and installed server hardware.

CROC developed a data model for The Seventh Continent that includes 62 dimensions, 86 indicators, and 21 report forms. The solution is based on the IBM Cognos 8 Business Intelligence product which includes efficient reporting and analysis tools and supports integration with other elements of the enterprise information infrastructure.

Master Data Management

Project Objectives: Provision of sales analysis system for operations in Pyaterochka, Perekrestok, and Karusel retail chains.

The project involved the first implementation of a MDM system in a Russian retail company. In 2008, CROC developed a catalogue structure and classifiers for products, suppliers, and delivery terms and conditions. The target model comprises a product range catalogue (90 attributes and 45 business rules) and contractor catalogue (110 attributes and 75 business rules) as well as directories and classifiers.

CROC, in partnership with TANDBERG, installed a TANDBERG Profile 8000 MXP high-definition video conferencing system at the  Auchan Sokolniki head office in Russia, as well as TANDBERG Edge 95 MXP and TANDBERG 6000 MXP systems in its regional branches in St. Petersburg, Nizhni Novgorod, Samara, Rostov, Ekaterinburg, Krasnodar, Novosibirsk and Omsk.
