CROC Differentiates Itself in Oracle Applications Services Market

CROC announces that it has become an Oracle Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider. As a result, the Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), Oracle Demantra, and Oracle Strategic Network Optimization (SNO) business applications are now available via a subscription-based pricing model (pay as you go, pay as you grow) via CROC’s ‘cloud’. CROC is an Oracle Platinum Partner and one of the first Russian system integrators to have become an Oracle BPO provider.

"In the post-crisis period, companies in Russia and around the world are reviewing their business strategies. At the same time, in order to optimize their operational business processes and gain a competitive advantage in the market, companies are frequently considering not only new information systems, but also non-traditional models for using them. Our new BPO provider status allows us to offer customers unique services in Russia. For example, in order to create a combined transportation planning and management system, you no longer have to install and maintain your own information system. Instead, all you need to do is deploy an outsourced solution based on CROC’s data center and connect to an existing installation within our ‘cloud’. As a result, customers will be able to use existing GIS services immediately and incorporate them with the systems of other companies such as railway, shipping line, and sea port operators," said Boris Bobrovnikov, Director General, CROC.

CROC already has considerable project implementation experience and has demonstrated its competence regarding the creation of related solutions and services. The service is paid for via regular (monthly or quarterly) all-inclusive payments that may be recognized as customers' operating costs, and covers Oracle applications, application support, business processes support, and the utilization of CROC’s entire data center IT infrastructure.

“For example, companies can use Oracle Transportation Management to schedule and arrange shipment more effectively and efficiently, thus helping to significantly cut transportation costs, improve customer service, increase the efficiency of using their own assets, and ensure the timely execution of orders,” explains Boris Bobrovnikov.

The BPO model delivered by CROC helps customers to significantly reduce supply chain costs, improve customer service, respond faster to changes in demand, and reduce load on distribution centers.
