CROC offers a solution which includes two subsystems: a data collection subsystem and a data analysis/display subsystem. The data collection subsystem (based on OSIsoft PI Systems) is deployed at remote facilities such as drilling platforms and its key objective is to collect data about current environmental conditions near the site. Data is collected from all sites via sensors, lab tests, and visual environmental observations and is then accumulated into a single intelligence center in order to process results and compare them with standards, deliver a GIS representation of the environmental situation on-site, forecast environmental impact, and create reports.
